The Capitol Centre recently received a very generous donation of 38 works of art from an anonymous collector. These art pieces vary from beautiful paintings and drawings to sculptures, each one-of-a-kind. The donor made the donation along with the suggestion to auction off the pieces to raise funds to benefit the theatre and gallery. So that's exactly what the Capitol Centre is doing!
"These are all one of a kind pieces! Most are created by local artists, some by very recognizable established artists. A few pieces are created by emerging artists, which is the perfect way to start your very own original art work collection. We are thrilled for these outstanding artworks to find their new homes!" says Alix Voz, Director/Curator, WKP Kennedy Gallery, Capitol Centre.
