90s NOSTALGIA: Silent Art Auction
October 28 – November 1 | WKP Kennedy Gallery
Throw it back to the bold, the weird, and the unforgettable spirit of the 1990s.
For one week only, the WKP Kennedy Gallery presents 90s Nostalgia—a silent art auction and exhibition inspired by the textures, icons, and subcultures that defined a generation. From neon dreamscapes and grunge aesthetics to zine culture and analog glitch, this show is a love letter to the decade that shaped a creative era.
Featuring original works donated by a curated lineup of past WKP exhibiting artists, each piece channels the raw emotion and offbeat creativity of the 90s. Expect a vibrant mash-up of references—from girl groups and garage rock to sitcoms and MuchMusic countdowns.
The exhibition leads into the Capitol Centre’s 90s Nostalgia Benefit Bash on November 1, where live bidding will heat up and final bids close at 11:30 PM.
Each artwork starts at an accessible opening bid—but the true value lies in the stories behind the work and the shared memories they revive. So unzip your fanny pack, crank the dial to YTV, and claim a piece of the decade that raised us.
Proceeds from all sales support the Capitol Centre’s community engagement programs—because like the best mixtapes, art is meant to be shared
