New! Outdoor Life Drawing Pop-Up Series

This summer, we’re bringing our beloved life drawing sessions outdoors! In partnership with local downtown cafés, the WKP Kennedy Gallery is launching a free outdoor life drawing series — blending creativity, community, and caffeine in one inspiring setting!

Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply looking for a unique way to spend your afternoon, join us for this one-of-a-kind event that celebrates art, sunshine, and the charm of our local businesses.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

- A beautiful downtown patio setting (space reserved for our group)

- A live, clothed model posing in a series of timed gestures

- No instruction provided — these are self-guided sessions

- Special café discounts for participants (encouraging a fun “drink & draw” vibe!)

 

PROVIED ON-SITE:

- Tables and chairs courtesy of our café host

- Drawing boards and clips from the WKP Kennedy Gallery

 

WHAT TO BRING:

- Sketchbooks, newsprint pads, or dry media (graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, pastels, markers, etc.)

- Easels are welcome for those who prefer to stand — feel free to set up along the patio’s edge

- July 12th – Opera Bakery Cafe (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)-  164 Main St W, North Bay

- July 26th – Gd2Go (10:00- 12:00 PM)- 375 Foran St, North Bay 

- August 16th – Himalayan Cafe (10:00-12:00pm)- 113 Main St E, North Bay

 

RAIN PLAN:

If it rains, we’ll simply relocate inside the café to continue the session comfortably.
