Gallery Shares Art Collection with the Community

By | September 13, 2019

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit currently has 16 WKP Kennedy Gallery works on display.

Some of the art includes Ted Fullerton’s Young Man in Love, Arlington Hoffman’s Seeking an Inner Vision, Bert Weir’s October Night, and Dennis Geden’s The Rink.

Loaning out pieces of our permanent collection to places in the community allows people to get a glimpse of the beauty we have here in the gallery. It also introduces the general public to artists they may not have been aware of.

It would be a shame to keep all of our collection locked up in our storage unit. Want to know what else we have in our collection? You can now see all of our permanent collection online.

WKP Kennedy Gallery is combining fitness with art.

Starting Monday, the gallery will be holding free lunchtime zumba in partnership with The Studio North Bay. The fitness party is from 12:15-12:45 pm, and again on Sept. 23 and 30.  Come in your workout clothes and shoes ready to enjoy the special experience of zumba in an art gallery.

Looking to get more involved within the arts community of North Bay? The WKP Kennedy Gallery is currently seeking members for our advisory committee. Interested parties can email us at info@kennedygallery by Oct. 3 to learn more on how to apply.
