Happy December!
Happy December Everyone!
With the first major snowfall of the season officially upon us, it is a sure sign that Christmas and the holiday season are just around the corner.
We consider ourselves to be extremely fortunate to still be in a Green Zone and one of the last Performing Arts Venues in Ontario to still offer in-person live events. This would not be possible without the support of our community and the part we all play in keeping each other safe.
We have your safety top of mind, and since we can welcome audiences of 50 people into our theatre, there are several COVID-19 safety measures in place from disinfection processes to physically distanced seating and touchless ticketing.
Right now, we are as busy as Santa’s elves at the Capitol Centre as we find ourselves in the midst of live events and ongoing exhibitions. WKP Kennedy Gallery welcomes you by appointment to see Honest Magic and Hindsight 2020 exhibitions. Our Festive Film series brings three favorite holiday films to the theatre beginning with a special screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation on December 3rd. Live events this month feature An Acoustic Christmas with Luke McMaster on December 5th and 6th followed by a night of blues music with Johnny Max and Chuck Jackson on December 12th and 13th.
All our live performances offer you the choice of enjoying the show in-person at the theatre or through live-streaming from the comfort of your home. You will find both ticket options on our website for easy online purchasing. If you prefer to come in make your ticket purchases, the Box Office is open Monday to Friday from 12-noon until 4pm.
