Make Essential Art - February Challenge

February is coming up so fast and we don't know about you but we think it's time that we all got inspired to create! For the month of February, we will be holding an art challenge with prompts twice a week. These will be posted on our Instagram and our Facebook and the whole purpose is to get everyone, including ourselves, off the couch and into brainstorming mode. It doesn't matter what type of art you do- painting, drawing, photography, digital, crochet, stick figures- or even if you don't regularly do art at all! This challenge is meant to get you thinking and moving, maybe even go outside for a walk, in order to fulfill the prompt request. All we ask is that you try and complete something twice a week and then post it online tagging us and using the hashtag #WKPessentialart. You get to create the work that we put up and we will be there along with you, looking for ideas and creating. We hope that these prompts will get you out of your comfort zone of normal making so that our days feel fresh and different. The challenge starts on February 1st and we will be posting prompts every Monday and Thursday on our social media. Have fun and don't forget to show us what you've made because we cannot wait to see it!
