Cory Marks Returns to the Capitol Centre!
The Capitol Centre and Cory Marks are excited to announce his return to the Betty Speers Theatre stage on Saturday, November 21, 2026. North Bay’s own country star made his Capitol Centre headlining debut for his sold-out Homecoming concert in 2024. “We’re thrilled to host Cory again!” says Dan Misturada, Director of Programming and Events at the Capitol Centre. “We really value supporting local artists, whether they’re just starting out, or have an established career, and Cory is a fantastic example of the talent that North Bay has to offer!”
Cory Marks, a North Bay, Ontario native, is redefining the boundaries of country and rock with his unapologetically bold sound. Influenced by his upbringing among country legends like Merle Haggard and the high-energy rock of bands like Rush and Ozzy Osbourne, as well as more recent standouts Bryan Adams, Brad Paisley and Eric Church, Marks has forged a style that is distinctly his own. His latest album, Sorry for Nothing & Sorry For Nothing Vol. 2 produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Shania Twain), Kile Odell, and Andrew Baylis (Brantley Gilbert, Jelly Roll), showcases this unique blend. The title track, “Sorry For Nothing,” alongside his most recent top 20 hit (#19) at US Rock Radio “Make My Country Rock” highlights his musical evolution and ability to bridge audiences from honky-tonks to rock arenas. “(Make My) Country Rock” epitomizes Marks' fusion of hard-hitting country and guitar-driven rock, energizing listeners with its anthemic chorus. Reflecting on themes of perseverance, family, and the unpredictable highs and lows of life, Marks brings a raw, authentic voice to both country and rock scenes, paving his own lane and uniting fans of both genres for an unforgettable ride.
With performances at many major music festivals not only in North America but in Europe and the UK performing in 7 different countries in 2025. Cory has toured alongside acts like ZZ Top, Five Finger Death Punch, Theory Of A Deadman, Travis Tritt, Halestorm, Sevendust to Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert, Marks knows how to electrify a crowd. His breakthrough single, “Outlaws & Outsiders,” featuring Ivan Moody, Mick Mars, and Travis Tritt, hit the Top 10 on U.S. rock radio, earning Gold status in America, and platinum in Canada, making Cory the first Canadian country artist to achieve top 10 on US Rock Radio charts and #3 in Germany, solidifying his place in the genre-blending movement.
