Nipissing University and the W.K.P. Kennedy Gallery are proud to present the 2024 Nipissing University Annual Juried Exhibition. Each year, the Fine Arts, Visual Arts program invites an arts professional external to the university to act as juror for an exhibition that is open to students in all year levels taking Fine Arts courses Nipissing.

This year, the collection of artworks was selected by Sharon Switzer, a media artist, arts educator, and Executive Director of the Near North Mobile Media Lab in North Bay, Ontario. The artworks selected reflect a diverse range of subjects and media created by students their second, third, and fourth years of the program.

The partnership between Nipissing University and the W.K.P. Kennedy Gallery offers students a valuable opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional space, and to gain experience with the submission, preparation, and exhibition process. The exhibition showcases the accomplished work being done by student artists at Nipissing and fosters connections with the broader cultural community in North Bay.
