'La nature en nous/The nature within us' by Stephanie Dupuis

Cette exposition, 'La nature en nous', marque sa première exposition solo. La création de ses œuvres
témoigne une fusion d’approches conceptuelles au cours de l'exploration artistique de
l’artiste et son trajet personnel.

Stéphanie Dupuis est une artiste contemporaine franco-ontarienne basée au Nipissing
Ouest.Elle a complété son baccalauréat en Peinture et Dessin, avec une double majeure en
Études autochtones à l'Université Concordia en 2019. Au cours de ses études, elle a
été invitée par l’artiste Masako Miyazaki a exposé dans une œuvre participative Green
Hole, une réponse artistique au Poem de Makiko qui a été exposée à l'Ambassade
Canadienne à Tokyo en 2017.

En 2021, Stephanie agit de directrice et commissaire de
la 10e édition du Festival Contemporain Lumière à Sydney en Nouvelle Écosse, en plus
de plusieurs projets créatifs au cours de sa carrière. Elle œuvre surtout à l'exposition et
la diffusion d'artistes émergents et établie en arts pluridisciplinaires.

This exhibition, 'La Nature en nous/The Nature within us', marks her first solo show. The creation of her work reflects a fusion of
conceptual approaches in the course of the artist's artistic exploration and personal journey.

Stéphanie Dupuis is a Franco-Ontarian contemporary artist based in West Nipissing.
She completed her BFA in Painting and Drawing, with a double major in First Peoples Studies at
Concordia University in 2019. During her studies, she was invited by artist Masako Miyazaki to exhibit in a participatory work Green Hole, an artistic response to Makiko's Poem that was exhibited at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo in 2017.

In 2021, she directed and curated the 10th edition of the Festival Contemporain Lumière in Sydney, Nova Scotia, in addition to leading
many creative projects over the course of her career. Her work focuses on the exhibition and dissemination of emerging and established artists in the multidisciplinary arts.
