Call for Submissions: 2024 Curatorial Mentorship Opportunity

The WKP Kennedy Gallery invites emerging artists without prior solo-exhibition experience to submit proposals for their very own solo exhibition. The recipient of this call for submissions will have the opportunity to have their body of work showcased in Gallery I from September 13th to October 26th, 2024.

 

DEADLINE TO APPLY: JUNE 18th AT 12 NOON ( Please note: Deadline was extended from may 31st- June 18th)

 

We encourage submissions that explore contemporary artistic techniques across various mediums, including but not limited to installation concepts, immersive experiences, 2D and 3D works, drawing, painting, fibre arts, textiles, photography, and/or ceramics.

A jury of creative professionals will review all submissions and collectively determine the deserving recipient food 2024. Proposals should address how the artwork will utilize the gallery space, which features walls with a height of 9.6 feet. Further dimensions for the length of each wall are attached on page 3 of the application document.
