Jaymie Lathem's Refractions

Exhibition Dates: June 4th - July 27th, 2019 Join us for the opening reception of Jaymie Lathem's solo exhibition 'Refractions'! The exhibit can be described with the quote: "The root of refraction is seen in the notion that the path of a ray of light or wave of energy is "broken" when it is deflected or turned." ~Merriam-Webster's Dictionary Jaymie Lathem is an artist based out of Northern Ontario. She received a BFA at Nipissing University and also studied Drawing and Painting at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the Alberta College of Art and Design. Over the past decade Jaymie has worked in various community-based and creative sector organizations across the Nipissing Region. She has a strong passion for the arts and believes North Bay and it’s surrounding community can be a thriving creative base in the North. Jaymie is currently the Executive Director of Creative Industries North Bay Inc.
