Ontario native and mezzo-soprano Rachel Wood joins the NBSO for an evening of late 19^th-century masterworks. Elgar’s stunning Sea Pictures anchors this program of rich harmony and vivid colour alongside two of Brahms’ best-known orchestral works, Academic Festival Overture and Variations on a Theme by Haydn.
